The fishermen on Lake Norman and elsewhere owe a big thank you to WylieCat for going to the deep water a couple of weeks ago and telling some of us about his success. We knew that the time was approaching for the cats to move into that area, but we kept fishing the old haunts rather than spending an extra buck or two for gas to travel to the deep water. Thanks man, we really appreciated it.

I harvested some blues yesterday for food, same as I did a couple weeks ago and found something interesting. The stomach contents of the cats that I harvested two week ago did not have any mussel shells in their stomach, they were full of blue backs and the ones I kept yesterday had some shells in their stomachs. If my guess is right, we currently have some new blues coming into the deep water.
