are there skip jack in texas? if so where? if not where can u get em?
Based on personal experience, I've never come across any. I have heard that there are some in the Red River below Texoma. You may try posting this in the Blue Cat thread. A lot of the guys in other states use them quite often. I know someone there will be able to help you out.
i have asked this same question. I live about 45 minutes from Sam Rayburn lake (south east texas). They are not in our area. A lot of times people will drive 3 or 4 hours just to go stock up on skip jack for the year. Around here Gizzard shad and cut/live brim work wonders. I wouldnt mind trying but i am not going to make a huge trip.
