Texas Hog hunting

    I've been lookin at heading to texas for a hog hunt. I was wondering how long season stayed in and whats the round about normal rate for a hog hunt? Any info will be appreciated!

    Well, there is no season for Hogs. You can shoot them all year round and as many as you can get your hands on. I am a Texas native, and over the last 10yrs or so the population of wild pigs has increased dramaticaly. The state has put no limit on them since they are a feral animal. You can find pigs from the south texas deserts, to the swamps near louisiana, up to the panhandle. As long as there is land, there will be pigs. You can google search Texas Pig hunting, or texas hog hunting and find all kinds of places that do guided hunts. However, if you want to save some money head out to some good east texas public swamp land and bait them in with corn and Sow in Heat Urine. You don't have to go on a guided hunt to find these things, they are everywhere.
