with the big drop in temps i think things will slow down big time, soon as things stabilize it will turn back on....if the rain holds off wednesday the bite should be hot before the front moves in.

I am glad I am WAY south. The lowest temp we'll see is 37, but the high that day is around 70 :)

With the recent over night lows in the 60's, high's pushing 70 in north Texas, water temps are pretty high for this time of year. As long as the cold front comes through and moves on. Only keeping air temps down for a day or two, hopefully it won't effect the water temp to much after it passes through.
IMO, in Texas the wind and air temp tends to bother the fisherman more than the fish.

I hadn't looked at the weather recenty but hopefully it'll make it down here. It'll sure help get the bite turned on at the local lake when the water cools down more.

I'm still deer hunting so my fishings on hold til I get that BIG buck....

    Good luck on the fishing....

Savage, if you see me posting about weather in TX then you're gonna get it too. If we discuss weather south of us then we're talking about Mexico :)

32 at 7 am in Kingwood. Looks like Tuesday and Wednesday are the best days for fishing. Another front is on the way.
