Tennessee River Sauger

    Hi cats we caught 4 keeper sauger on the Tenn. river today at three rivers in knoxville Tenn the sauger is showing up it wont be long until you will catch your limit be careful fishing cold water wear your life jackets Rico Skibo

    Stop and pick yourself up some 1/8 oz. hair jigs and tip them with any kind of live fish up to 3 or 4". I'm no expert at sauger, but I seem to do best in 10-15' water slowly jigging. keep that tension on the line or they'll let go before you know they're there.

    you can get some football head jigs with a treble stinger made into them for hooking the minnows tail to catch short strikers.
