Here's how to tell your rank in catfishing.

    1. You have used natural bait more than once.

    2. You don't like bass while catfishing.

    3. You do whatever you can to get time to fish.

    4. You like the smell of most commercial catfish baits.

    5. You like the fight of a cat better than any other fish.

    6. You don't quit if the fish don't bite in an hour.

    7. You try new baits and methods at least once a month.

    8. You have used live bait.

    9. You have attempted making your own bait.

    10. Finally, you have caught at least 5 catfish in the past 6 months.

If 0 of the above apply to you, you aint no catfisherman.

If 1 of the above apply to you, you may have caught one a long time ago.

If 2 of the above apply to you, you're a novice.

If 3 of the above apply to you, you need to know a lot more.

If 4 of the above apply to you, you're learning.

If 5 of the above apply to you, you have a little experience with catfishing.

If 6 of the above apply to you, you're below average.

If 7 of the above apply to you, you're the average catfisherman.

If 8 of the above apply to you, you're pretty good.

If 9 of the above apply to you, you're a great catfisherman.

If 10 of the above apply to you, you are top-notch.
