I went with my father-in-law Saturday. Small bluegill on wax worms and red worms, one keeper bass on a minnow, two catfish also caught on minnows with bobbers. We had beached the pontoon and fished off the back and sides, in shallow water.

We don't know the lake well enough to give any advice. Spoke to two boats of bass fishermen leaving as we were: four fishermen, nine to ten hours on the lake, one bass each, and only one was big enough to be legal.

So, if you're looking for bass, these guys didn't have any luck at all.

    Good lucy to you.

I went last week and not one single fish caught all day long. I was all over that lake trying different depths and they just weren't on. I talked to several other fishermen at the ramp and all of them said it was really tough to get anything to bite.
