targeting winter channel catfish

    So what should i do come november and december? Any new things i should be aware of or start using?

    the only thing i do different is i stop drift fishing alot and find the deepest holes i can i also do not move for about an hour instead of a half hour with no bites and wear a coat and gloves but this is how i fish the mississippi so i can not give you any help on a lake

    I basically do the same thing on the lake I fish, catch most of my biggest fish in November.

    I guess you should stick to natural baits. worms, minnows, bluegill heads, etc. Fish before a cold front is what I hear. Always check the weather and when a cold front is coming through then get out there a couple hours before.
