Taking the wife hunting in the morning

    It will be her first time out hunting. We'll be setting up in my ground blind near were I killed that 10 pointer earlier this year. It would sure be nice to at least see some deer so she can better understand why I go! :big_smile:

    Sounds like fun. I envy you. I might be able to get my wife out if I could get one of those blinds with a heater, coffee pot, arm chair, wind break, a cot, a paved walkway, electric lights, and a place for her yarn. Nope, I can't see that happening! She'd make me put rubber tips on my arrows, anyway.

    I guess my post was a bit misleading...
    She wasn't hunting, just accompanying me. Unfortunately, we didn't see anything besides a coon and he busted me before I could take a shot at him. :tounge_out:
    She does shoot a bow though and we're going to be shooting in a league together starting in Jan. Maybe I can get her talked into hunting next season.
