Which type (if any) of catfish do you fish for most
I know it's not an actual poll, but you can still post a reply, thank you. (didn't edit in time)
Your poll didn't come through my friend.
Blues, most of the time. Flatheads in May and June, but they're too smart for me most of the time....oooh:
Channels, thats all we have in Nevada besides whites and bullheads.:sad2:
Flaties, channels, blues, or channels, blues, and flatties...:smile2: BIGGUNS (as Al Bundy would say)
blues , some channel
Ive always been a flathead chaser and always will be, but these folks in Henderson are trying to convert me over to blues. lol
We primarily fish for blues. Sometimes channels.
I set up for blues, and channels the same, so I guess blues and channels. I catch an occasional flathead too, and they are my favorite to eat, but seldom set up specifically for them.
We set for catfish period and get all 3 but we target channels cause of the taste. Lately we been getting a lot of (skunked) oooh:
Flatheads are #1!
Also fish for blues and channels and even whites sometimes.
blues all the way!
Blues first but don't mind the channals.
blues and chanels cant get them flats lol
blues, channels, then flatheads.
Fish for flats only.Use Lots of live bait.
Majority of the time I target flatheads. Sometimes if I want eaters I'll go for channels. Not enough blues here to target. Its luck if I catch one here in the Ohio river.
I catch most of my flatties on cut skippies and bluegill heads. I love live bait also!
Flathead catfishing is #1 in my book with blues coming in second.
Blues most of the time.
