There is an event out of Hopewell Marina on the James River November 17th. They're looking for people with boats to take disabled veterans catfishing. It's through the Wounded Warrior program. The boat needs to be big enough to possibly accomodate somebody in a wheelchair. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, PM me and I can put you in touch with the guy who is running it. They still need a few more boats. You don't have to be a catfisherman, as they can pair you up with a seasoned James catman who didn't have a big enough boat but who can assist with knowledge and provide gear. The event will run from approx 7am to 4pm with a dinner afterwards. There are already some striper and saltwater guys signed up, it shows this event is bigger than any specific fish or fishing site, it's about helping guys who gave alot for this country.
