Just what I have been looking for! Thanks

ETA: Are those mounted in an Alumacraft? The top rail looks identical to mine.

    Nice rod holders.
Where did you find the mounts for the T track? My war-eagle has the same kind. I need about 8 like that.

That is a 28" Musky, my first Musky.

The boat in the pictures is a Xpress. I got the aluminum stock to fit the gunwales from my dealer, then made the mounts for the rod holders myself. Nothing any welding shop could do. The aluminum stock is quite expensive so plan ahead and only buy what you need.

We troll for Musky with big lures and with these rod holders it's easy. Very adjustable. Down-East makes several versions you might want to check out.

Phil Thanks. I know I had a guy tell me the aluminum stock was $10+ per foot. Guess I will just have to buy 6ft of it. And get it over with.
I have 2 war-eagles. So need some for both of them.

I have the clamp-on type on my toon boat. They have 2 sizes to fit the bigger based rods- They're great and like you said fully adjustable and strong.

Rod holders look ok, but they look a little small for my rods.

My triton duck boat has the same kind of system as the war eagles, the only problem is that triton charges like $25 each for the bracket itself. But making them would probably cost just as much so I guess its a lose lose situation for me.
