Jake Bussolini a member of the Carolina Catfish Club and fishing author held a free seminar this morning for boys and girls on how to catch fish, tie knots and a little about fish finders and safety on the water. Over thirty kids attended plus thier parent or grandparent. Prior to the seminar he had lined up some guys to take the kids fishing (free) from 12:30 to 3 PM. I had the honor of being selected and I had as my guest two young girls and two boys, plus their parent or grandfather, in other words, I had a boat load. We started right off catching some perch with the Sabiki Rigs (blue wings by Eagle Claw no. 6). Next hour we caught some blue catfish using bream heads and blue backs and the last hour nada.

Mac, I got to say that was incredible.
All of ya deserve an award for this.

Me thinks this is one of the best ideas I've ever heard about to teach and get young kids started in fishing.
