Planning a trip for 9-27, would like to her some reports from both areas if possible. Haven't fished the tailrace since 1988, was one of my favorite areas when I was living at Bonneau Beach in the mid to late 80's. We fished the diversion canal in June with the largest being 32 lbs. Thanks in advance for any info.

Not too long ago I was catching alot of nice Cats at the Tailrace, but I havent been there in awhile. Not much of anyone else fishes there on here besides me.Take shrimp and crawlers for the eaters, and herring or shad if you can get some for the bigguns. Also soak a bream for a big Flathead.
There are plenty of monsters in there, just gettin em to bite is the trick.
