Tadpoles for bait?

    Anybody use tadpoles for bait? I've got hundreds of 3" bullfrog tads in my pond, but I never give any thought about using them.

    All I've ever caught on them are channels but I know flatheads love bullfrogs so I bet they would eat them.

    We've used tadpoles before, catch channels with them.

    ive never used tadpoles down here but back home in pa we use to use them all the time to catch bass and calico(crappie) never caught a cat on em tho, but the bass tear em up somethin good

    aint never caught anything with em. id rather use gills
