could someone tell me if they have used a planer blade on there table saw?if you have i would be interested in your opinions on the finish quality of the cut. i want to try one but the cost is a little steep if it doesnt produce a cut that is ready for glue up without useing the jointer

I have used them and was not satisfied with the results.I ended up buying a 12" surface planer and a jointer to do the quality of work my business required.

I also used a biscuit joiner when glueing up wide boards. I love the strength and solidity the biscuit adds. Yes the old story is true.. You can't have too many clamps.

I hav`nt seen one, but I can`t imagine it doing a very good job and if it`s pricey, then I would sure rather spent my money on a decent planer.

i have a good jointer . i'll just stick with it. i to use a biscut joiner whenever and where ever possable. i glue up a lot of big stuff and sometimes it gets a little difficult to edge joint. thanks for your input.
