T-bird fishing report Ahoki style 7/7/06

    time - 7 pm to 3:30 am
    date 7/7/06
    fishing method - jugs (165 hooks)
    bait - bluegill / perch / hotlinks and some stink
    depth - 8-15'
    landed - 8 channels (1 2lb channel and 7 1.5 lb channels)
    water level - lower than i've ever seen it!!

    We had a blast even though it wasnt as productive as i wanted. But hey, cant complain......added some bags to the freezer!

    Sounds like you did alright...just need some bigger fish to hit them up and the hook to fish ratio isn't that great...did they mainly hit your higher-mid-or lower hooks?

    Yea we've been on trial and error with these waters a few times, we had our jugs pretty well spread apart to see about several areas. Next time were going to concentrate a little harder in a few certain spots where the creek bends. They mainly hit on the 2nd hook from the bottom which is maybe 5' off bottom. I cant wait to get back out there, but its been too hot and i misjudged the wheather last weekend and didnt go........next weekend is on though!
