i fish for striper in the winter and use trebles to prevent gutters :smile2:

i ran out of my leaders and ( forgot ) swivels at my house... so making due i ... "put on a treble to my mainline :tounge_out:"

i usually dont fish without swivels cause there suposta keep line twists minimal

i didnt have any problems with wists and kinda liked how simple it was to only have the treble on the line

6lb test is pretty invisible at night and might increase my chances by not having shiney brass swivel to scare em off!!!!

:eek:oooh:eek:r would it attract them???:eek:oooh: something to ponder about :tounge_out:

I never use a swivel unless I'm fishing for catfish. I hate messing with them and there not going to add any benefit. Only reason I use them for catfishing is I fish heavy current and they like to roll when your fighting them.
