im gon fishing just about all night friday night at sutton lake with a buddy in our kayaks we are wanting to catch some big cats. i have fished there a few times and my biggest is 17lbs caught him from the bank havnt really catfished from a boat. so my question is whats my best bet i know brim work well im gonna try to catch some. but do you think the 30 ft hole in the third lake is a good bet or no im just curious cause most my catfishing is done from the river which i think is alot easier. are the flatheads holding up in deep water because the lakes so hot. im just trying to get a game plan together i want to get pulled all over the lake by a big flathead. any advice would be appreciated

I would avoid the 30ft hole if you're wanting big flatheads. From what I've seen and heard, most all you're gonna get is channel cats and ones of the smaller variety.
