Any of you guys or gals know anything about Sutton lake, Elk river or Lake Summersville? My wife has family there and I was wondering do these lakes hold any cats and if so would it be worth pulling the boat up?

Summersville lake is awsome. It's worth cruising with a boat even if you don't fish. Lake is surrounded by rock cliffs, very deep, pretty green/blue water, and full of channel cats. Sutton too has channel cats. Not sure if any of them have flatheats. If your at Sutton, your not far from Burnsville Lake. That's where the flatheads are or so they say. I fish the Mon or Ohio mostly for flattys.
