I was talking to one of my buddies that got the lowdown on the #65 Flathead caught a few weeks ago on the Susky. He was talking to a guy that ownes a bait shop and he told him the Pa game comm. is not counting it as a new record cause it was foul hooked. The guys that caught it is trying to despute it. I can't see how it could count since it is illegal to snag in Pa. If the guy killed and kept that fish he should be fined.

I am going to go tonight for a little bit. I have my new bait tank almost complete, and I want to try and keep some shad alive tonight.

No flatheads, but caught about a dozen of these and some walleyes. Most fish were caught on 3 inch glow curly grubbs.

I love winter smallies! they really seem to hang tight to warm water.

as for the rep, you mentioned something about 'sucking your thumb and fishing for smallmouth bass'... well, maybe your having a gestational moment. :smile2::smile2::smile2:

its not a crime to catch them, their fun! very full of fight for their size.

Don't worry about you rep. Tan, you said you were going for Flatheads. If you catch by-catch it's O.K.

You should see my new bait tank. It is sweet. I can put about 50 Gal. of water in it and I can travel with it.

The way it was worded didnt sound to definative said the fish was reported nothing else. I figured another fish story. Are you telling me the size of this thing is legit? If so the bait shop must know of a photo somewhere. Id need to see that pic to beleive it.
