is 3-4 in sunperch a good bait,lmk as there is a sandpit here in town with tons of them in it,between me and my sone we can catch about 20 and hour,if they are a good bait i will take with me saturday night in hunt of the big cats,thanks

Any kind of a sunfish/bluegill seems like it would be good bait. I caught by biggest fish on a limbline baited with a sunfish. Green sunfish are also good bait.

I trot line deep clear water lakes in northern Ar. Ive fished with sun perch a lot over the last 30 yrs. They seem to work as well as rice slicks or blue gills or anyother live baite ive tryed. Give them a try.
