Anyone have any good books on their summer reading lists? I just got a new stack (8 used paperbacks from the library, and 6 from the book store). These should keep me occupied.

    The Color Purple/Walker
    Great Expectations/Dickens
    Lord of the Rings/Tolkein
    The Two Towers
    The Return of the King
    Animal Farm/Orwell
    Dracula/Stroker
    Wuthering Heights/Bronte

    Breakfast at Tiffany's/Capote
    A Happy Death/Camus
One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest/Kesey
    Swann's Way/Proust
    Mere Christianity/Lewis

What I'm reading right now is "Wine and War", about what the French wineries had to do to protect the vineyards during WWII. Very interesting book about a different topic during the war.

How about the rest of you?

Oh yeah, and a book called "The Big Book of Self-Reliant Living", which is a very cool book on everything from basic plumbing to organic gardening to sewing.

I read alot of her books when I was young, also.

Are you there, God? It's me, Margeret
    Freckle Juice
    Then again, maybe I won't

I can't remember the other ones, but I really liked those ones. They make me think of summer's at my Grandma's house.:smile2:

I forgot another one: Pulp/ Charles Bukowski
