Does anybody take part in the Spring Sucker Run. If not..here is what it is..you should try it. When spring hits and suckers push up into streams and my roomates and I put on our chest waders and get at it. One person goes into the hole thats holding suckers while the other guys wait at each side in the ripples. Then when the suckers push out the guys in the ripples try to hand grap the suckers in the shallows. ITS HARD...BUT VERY FUN!!!

Nope but when I was a country boy and didnt know better (8-11 yrs old)...they were pretty easy snagging during the run. Now I know your not allowed to snag in PA.

That sounds like it may be more fun to watch than to take part in.

reminds me of chasing black nosed dace with a regular minnow net (not the sceine) by myself. you sneak up on a school and put the net in the water. then run a wide circle round them and to the net hoping not to trip on a rock.
