Is anyone paying any attention to Strikeforce? Did you see the crap of a show they put on last week? Couple decent fights, but everything else was just bad.

We now have the almighty(cough) Fedor fighting Werdum. Do I care? NOPE. Will I watch? I sure will.

Anyone else out there keepin up on Strikeforce? This fight is an M-1 co-promotion so we will be treated to hearing them constantly say Strikeforce, M-1 Global, Showtime presents crap that bore me before the fights even start. Fedor is fighting yet again a guy that couldn't make it in the UFC instead of someone he should be fighting. Overeem is one.....Josh barnett is another outside of the UFC that would make sense.
I can't wait to see yet another MMA fight card, but I just may have to keep the volume down so I don't have to hear the annoying voices of Mauro, Jimmy Lennon and Gus Johnson. Oh can't forget the mummy ....or I mean "the fight professor"
I just wish Strikeforce would get back into their own thing instead of these cross promotions and crap deal with Showtime and CBS.

Am I the only one who believes that Fedor is the most over rated fighter ever? Who cares about Werdum...I want to see him fight Anderson Silva!!! He wouldn't stand a chance against any of the top 5 heavyweights or light heavyweights in the UFC, but he's rated #1 because of a bunch of canned fights? Can he fight? Yes, but I don't see him in the top 10 let alone #1 P4P...or #1 HW.

Im actually looking forward to this card, just as much as most ufc ppv's. Their presentations are horrible though, good thing i watch for the fights. Is this fedors 2nd or 3rd fight in SF? Im giving him a by until the contract runs out but i really dont blame him for not signing his career away to the ufc. Fedor has tried to fight josh barnett but roids were found, maybe likely for the reem fight as well. I do want to watch fedor vs lesnar or carwin though.

Would it really be signing his career away by signing with UFC? Not at all. Have you followed much of what has gone on with Fedor? It has ranged from M-1 wanting UFc to split all profits with them to M-1 wanting the UFC to build them an arena in Russia to them wanting the UFC to co-promote events to share the profits and sign 8-9 fighters from M-1 to the UFC.
UFC wants to sign Fedor and pay him more than any other MMA fighter gets paid. He would fight people that actually meant something in the HW division. Not just keeping on fighting has-been UFC fighters. There a difference in not signing away your career and playing it safe.

I loved it when the show started.....GUS JOHNSON started the show by mentioning the arena the "Shark Tank"........but calling it the SHANK TARK

Now I'm watchin Frank Shamrock announcing his retirement from fighting and praising Scot Coker......hahaha I'd like to see him get in the cage again..he can be fun to watch.

BAAAHHHHHHHAAAAAHHHAHAAAAA

Werdum....did not throw a punch....Fedor hit him.....it went to the ground and FEDOR GOT ARMBARRED/TRIANGLE CHOKED......HAHAHAHAHHA what was it? 28 seconds?

I know MMA math never works, but considering how poorly Werdum did in the UFC yet he is doing well in Strikeforce I think this says a lot. Fedor the best, supposedly yet he lost against someone that NOBODY ever thought would win.

This was GREAT. You could just hear Scott Coker and the M-1 crew crying at what happened to their cash cow. Even though Fedor didn't win, I would still like to see his next fight be against Overeem.

thankfully the farce that is Fedor has been revealed. that is what happens when you fight cupcakes for like 10 years. he has not had any real reason to take any of his foes seriously and i'm sure his training has reflected that as well. that noise you just heard was strikeforce's hopes and dreams being shattered. LOL!!!!

yep, fedor made a costly mistake, goin to the ground that early, dry as hell.i don't think it proves anything.GSP has lost,Silva has lost,Lesner has lost, but they are still considered among the greatest.its what someone does after a loss that proves there greatness.like Faber(WEC)after Brown knocked him out he's turnin' out to be the bitch i thought he was all along.like i said,i don't know if fedor is great or not,but this fight proved only that he can make a stupid mistake.i like UFC,but they sure are hard to watch, unless you spend a 100.00 a month to see PPV.THEY USE TO THROW A GOOD CARD TO THE LOYAL FANS,NOT LATELY THOUGH.So i reaserve judgement on him til i see more,i won't just judge him because he's not in the UFC.

UFC is the bomb. We have a $50 budget just for 1 ppv/month. If there are 2, well, I gotta find a bootleg copy...but I got connections, lol. I could watch every fight the next day for free. ...So could everybody, but I wanna see it right then, and I want UFC to be successful so they can continue to pay the best fighters. That's why they have the best fighters, because they can afford to pay them. I could spend $50 on beer and whiskey, or a bag of schwag, or the movies...but I'm a fight fan. I gotta see the fights!

Fedor has been exposed like I knew he would be by a fighter that is not even in the top 10. Reminds me of the 1 punch KO that Seth Petruzzeli put on Kimbo Slice. All the chips were piled on Kimbo, and he was vanquished with ease, causing Elite XC to crumble in the wake. An (I'm sure) overpaid Fedor is still on the payroll, and he will no longer be a threat. Overreem will obliterate him with huge strikes.

Was he always overrated, or is he just past his prime now? I don't know that it matters. He's dodge the top teir for so long now. Either M-1 has hindered Fedor from realizing his true potential, or genius for inflating Fedor to a point where he could name his price. Either way, I've never considered Fedor a top 10 fighter regardless of his record.

Strikefarce was a circus as usual. Shamrock is a narcissist. Retire is a humble way! That freak-show took up a slot for another fight. I don't care what you do Frank Shamrock!

Cung Lee put on a good show. Scott Smith is a 1 dimensional fighter, but a gamer...Kinda like Jardine, LOL...but Cung Lee put on a Karate clinic, which is always refreshing. H'yah!

I also don't judge Fedor because he's not in the UFC. I judge him by what he's done in the last 4-5 years.
You can say he's at the end of his career, but really he should be in his prime. Fact is....he is not fighting because it's what he wants. If he wanted to be the best he can be, he'd fight the best all the time. I understand he fought the best he has had put in front of him, but he had better options. At first M-1 slammed the UFC claiming they wouldn't work with them. Well the UFC would have been ignorant to Co-promote with them. They wanted half the profits. NO WAY. M-1 has sucked dry most of their other options. UFC wanted to pay Fedor more than any other fighter in the sport, but that wasn't good enough. They wanted M-1 plastered on everything UFC.
Now as is expected, M-1 and Fedor are putting the spin on things that he needed to lose. As if he had to lose to get motivated. Well....BULL. They are just trying to hype a rematch with Werdum. Should he get a rematch? SURE. But AFTER Werdum fights Overeem. Then Fedor fights the loser of that fight.......then on to the champ. It doesn't make sense to me why they would give Fedor an instant rematch, but wouldn't give Bret Rogers an instant rematch against Fedor. Other than the name game of course.
We will likely see Fedor fight next against Werdum and they wanna put it on PPV. Rediculous.
