first off welcome to the BOC. What i use and i have used it on braid are the pre tide knots you can get from walmart in the packs. they are cheep and they are kinda handy.

go to the wild wolfs web site and there is a diagram in there where you find the fat cat bobbers on how to tie your own stop knot from any kind of line you prefer.

A bobber stopper installed as directed will slid up the line some.
The longer it stays on the line the easier it will slid.
I install as directed then add a few granny knots. Pull them hard.
I have a couple that are 3 years old and pretty much stay where put.

    Ok,,,your troubles are over.....

Use the braided line you already have on your reel. Use the knot in the video and your good to go.

I went through a lot finding something good and come to find out it was right under my nose...the braid works perfect ; )~

You can use wax coated masons line too. Just cut a foot long piece and seperate the 3 strands.

Everything I've tried slides, but, I use mono line.

I've started using a piece of rubberband tied on, and trimmed,, Cheap and works as well as anything I've used. However, most of my rods have fairly large guide eyes..
