I was just wondering if stinkbait ever goes bad? The stuff I have is about a year and a half old. It doesn't look like it is the same color as a new batch from a bait shop, so it makes me wonder if I should just buy a new batch. It is sonny's blood dip bait. Thanks

I think Sonnys gets better with age. I keep most of mine refrigerated. However I found a couple of pails that was several years old and mixed a new tub into the old and continued to catch fish.

Stinkbait is kinda like buttermilk, you can't tell by the smell that's for sure.

    Hey Jonathon,

I thing that Stink Bait doesn't get bad, "it gets better".

As Stink Bait get older and is not use often / it will discolor (almost like cement as it drys) but it will still be just as deadly.

I have use Stink Bait that was "old as 2 Years" & It caught fish just like it was new.

So you are OK - "Trust Me".

It will still catch fish. Probably better than the new would.
