I personally have had low sucess with stinkbait... I have spoke with people that swear by Danny Kings punch bait though. Your gonna get alot of different opinos on this topic. Try danny kings or experiment & make your own. Good luck!:cool2:

Danny Kings works well for me, in the water I fish.

Just remember, that what works in my waters, may not work in yours.

Always carry several different baits when you go fishing, as you never know what they may bite on that day. This will most times, keep you from coming home empty handed.. Good luck..

All I ever caught on Danny King's was hell from my wife when I brought it in the house... :sad2:

I've used Bee-Jay since I was a little kid and always got at least a few fish.

But in the least year or two, I've switched to live bait (shad, etc.) and have far better results.

    Hey Marshall,

The best time to use stink-baits (for me at lease  ) are in the spring & summer months. The Best type of stink-bait to use (again for me) is "Wicked Sticky". You can pick-up some at the Catfish Connection web-site.

I have had my best luck with DK's. But like said before what works in my water may not work in yours. As for time of year I have used and caught fish in all but the coldest part of winter.

Whiskers was my first try at stink baits.
It was made by a neighbor of mine when I was a kid. Its a big seller here in SE Iowa.
I usually use dip baits now a days.
Bowkers is good and this year I tried Premo.
Both work good for SE Iowa cats.
