Just to let everyone know but the flats are still biting, really slow and better have some patience..I went to the tubes at tuttle Saturday night and after sitting there for about 8 hours managed to hook into a 15 pound flathead at about 9:00 that night using perch...sit there for another 7 hours and didnt get even a hit but by then it was about 2 in the morning and I was cold and ready to go home, but they are there so there is still some hope.

no not sure what the temp was, it was warmer than the outside air because all the steam coming off the water out of the tubes was like a sauna and when I did pull my bait out occasionally it felt warm, guessing maybe low 60's or upper 50's..sorry I couldnt be more help

My son Matt caught three in the rain yesterday at El Dorado. A 68#, 48#, and 25#. Flatheads will still be biting until late November.
