My stepson Jason and his brother have a boat slip on lake Texoma, OK. On mothers day weekend Jason went to the lake, and before he loaded the boat he got his rod and thought he would make a few casts from the dock. His first cast at the end of the dock, was rewarded with this 9lb. 13oz. bass. He and the Ranger tried to keep it alive but it died a few hours later, so Jason had it mounted. The Ranger took a sample of thr bass for DNA, and it turned out to be a Native Oklahoma Black Bass. He was a very excited fisherman when he got home, as was my grandson Jaxon.
