    Man! My buddy in Seattle said the season for Winter run is off the charts..
    Congrats on your finds!
    I hooked a Wild Winter run a number of years ago in the Skykomish..
    I tell everyone it was like hooking a Torpido:big_smile:

    They are the tasty'st of the trout family!
    Do you also get the Sea run Cut's and Dolly Vardon?

    how'd you go about catching them? i've read about fly fishing for them in the winter and using spinning tackle. I really want to get into fly fishing and that looks like something i'd really enjoy!

    great catch congrats sure miss the steelhead and samoln runs in the salmon river used to go every year but havnt been in about 10.good luck to ya

    Nice trout there bro, I bet they were some good eating too, I love fishing in the cold like that, some of my most productive days for trout have come when the weather is very nasty like that.
