Just thought you guys might want to know that the skipjack are biting.

I was there tuesday after work at about 3pm and caught about 40 pounds of skipjack in about a half hour. Took more time to drive than to fish. Had to go home early to pick up kids from daycare.

The skipjack were HUGE, ranging from 10"-16". The water was thick with giant skipjack. Was a ton of fun. Caught them on a sabiki rig with 10lbs trilene XL. Wore my biceps out trying to horse them on shore.

I'm gonna go fishing sunday for giant cats with the skipjack. I'll let you guys know how it goes :)
