Caught some bluegills, about 4 in 20 min, figured that was enough for a couple hours, all i had time for. Dropped two rods in and had some wiggling on the rods right away...figured it was just the blue gill. Check them after a while, both had their tails chewed off.......darn it! oh well, cast them back out and got some good takedowns, but nothing latched on until a 4lb channel. Then got a 22 inch smallmouth...that was fun. Finally ended up with another channel. Darn flatties weren't latching on. Oh well, still fun!

ya know I occassionally get that in the James, im figuring the crabs are grabbing a hold of them

I can't say I have ever seen a crab though.....weird. Could just be smaller catfish or bass.
