Finally I got something closer to home. I am starting at the Goodyear Plant in Fayetteville, so long you big drive to Raleigh everyday for just enough money to cover gas to drive to work and home. Anyone else work at this plant and could tell me how life is down there. I am starting out as a Tire Builder #1.

Congrats and good luck at the new job. For some reason I thought you were in the military. I guess I'm used to most of the population here being military.

Good luck with the new job, Billy. Being closer to home ought to give you more time on the river.

Don't waste time on what might have been, just lie on your back and float.

Its a dirty job but somebody has to do it.
They just came off a strike recently.
Currently Goodyear is trying to extort 40 million dollars out of the state of NC in exchange that they wont leave the state but wont include in that they they wont lay off 150 workers in the process.

The governor vetoed the 40 million last week. Now the legislature is going to try to defeat it.

Other then that I've done work for alot of people that work at Goodyear. They have done well but work quite a bit.
