If you've got the starter number, Ebay is a great place to get one. I bought a brand new one there for my '69 Merc 35 h.p. and it was $75-$100 cheaper than at a marine parts place. Check with some of the starter altenator dealers on there and they can usually find one that will cross with it. Good luck!!

Ebay does work at times, just ask the right questions, and be sure your buying what you need.

I'm assuming you've tested everything? Starter button and all electrical connections? Good clean ground and positive connections?

I was wanting to say, if you keep it tuned up and the gas in good condition, why would you want to waste money on a srarter for a 20 hp.

    You look healthy enough.
