st. louis guy moving to houston.

    so im going to uti in may for a year and thought about just taking my rv down. Is there campgrounds close to any good lakes down there? Im strictly a river guy but it dont seem like u guys got to much of that. lol any help is appreciated.

    Look around lake conroe for camolng winter rates should be in effect this time ov year

    We've got lots of rivers in Texas. You'll be closest to the Brazos River, and not too much farther is the Colorado River.

    Download Google Earth, find the river and it you can get it to show campgrounds and places to stay. I'm not sure how far you want to drive each day. Traffic is terrible in Houston.
