Spot and Croaker in the spring???

    Any body interested in making a trip to fish for spots and croakers in the spring??
    I don't know where to go,,looking for a person in the know
    to give directions.:confused2:

    Maybe we can get a bunch of boats to go????

    Croakers all you want starting in early April last year in West Point in the York River and spots at Waterview in the Rap. I always go a few times.

    james river fishing pier and the lynhaven fishing pier are great, and the water surrounding the HRBT produces some excellent fishing. the nice thing about the two is ANY saltwater is the best place to catch em in spring:tounge_out:
    IMO the easiest way to fill a cooler is a 2 hook bottom rig with a piece of bloodworm or squid

    almost forgot. you gotta use a MH bass rod to add to the fun, those little fish pull like a HUGE fish on light rods.
