Some of the ones I have seen them use are home made umbrella style nets with 3/8 rope attached to them.

i was thinking a pool noodle cut down the middle and cable tied around the frame of the mouth of the net that way it would stay open and then you could just drag the fish up and in when he's good and tired ill have to tinker around and see if it will work. lol that should look pretty redneck oh well ive been one this long aint no since in changing now

There's a bunch of those folks who fish the high walls and they seem to think
those nets are beyond cool. Essential some have told me. I think if you
looked hard enough, you'd find someone that produced them nets for either
high wall or bridge fishing. Me, I just work the fish to the rip rap and take
them there. Of course, I lose my share of them too!

Look on the internet for crab and lobster nets. That is how I got mine. It is three and a half feet across it.

I have seen them made out of bicycle tire rims with the spokes cut out of them, i know they work really well and can save a big fish when you really need it!
