I went out to Spencer for a little tonight. You wouldn't believe what I caught on shad heads. One 3# 8oz and the other 3# 12 oz. These were the first two fish caught on my new American Spirit "Catfish" Rod. I hope there no bad mojo on my rod now.

Strange thing. Both were full of eggs that looked like young eggs (tiny). I wonder if they started a second spawn.

Jeff, I think your rod is cursed now... here, I'll take it off your hands - all my stuff has bad mojo anyway...

Seems that way. A guy caught a 50+ pound flathead earlier this year in a bass tournament using a spinner bait.

Hey Jeff, I have a 3 acre pond... In the fall and early spring, I can throw cut bait and whole blue gills (dead) about 2-3 foot from the bank; like chumming I guess, and watch the bass come and gently pick them up one by one and slowly carry them off.
