Species Revisited

    Okay guys, got a new species for you...... Looks like a fish I had in my aquarium once, caught it at lake allatoona on a sz 16 fly hook and small piece of worm while bream fishing.
    The side fins had a stange motion to them, it seemed to "hover" in the water similar to a hummingbird.

    So what is it?

    Looks strangely familiar to a logperch.. doubt it is though..:eek:oooh:

    Milk Snake Perch :smile2: Completely harmless :smile2:

    Looks similar to a yellow perch, but it's definately not a yellow perch. I am going to check out Bumper's link...

    I('ve caught some here in Ohio that looks alot like that pic. We have always called em tiger fish even when I was a kid. Dunno what exactly those are.
