Are they on the spawn and were do u catch them when they are on the spawn

Mo river in Mo they spawnen, they can be caught but its tough fishen. We call it the no bite time and it can be a pain for 3 to 4 weeks then its back on for green light racen. Seems I always catch my biggest blues in aug after the spawn and the Mo river drops out and more fishable. Guess fish are hungery after the spawn and the lower river levels kinda make em easier to get @.
