spawn over on the Mon. river? Hopefull

    0715170013a_Film8.jpg Over fri.and sat. nite we landed 3 flatts the biggest 36 inchs .This one pictured is the biggest caught on cut gill the front section.The others were 30 inchs and 25 inch.

    The biggest was hooked right in thecorner of the mouth using 8 ought circle hook and the other 2 swalled the bait hook and all.We cut the line hopingthey will survive and cpr.ed em.

    Funny, they just inhaled the baits and just sit there. Hopefully this means the spawn is over.

    Yep, usually the females start feeding good after getting bumped off the nest. Did ya notice if the flats looked beat up?

    Yes ,they had a few brushburn marks on em, and were really lean lookin.

    I always feel like I got robbed a couple pounds when I caught a post spawn flattie. lol

    The flatty females are gonna probably start feedin and as slim as the fish were we caught,good I figure.
