I do a lot of fishing around the Spencer and Freedom area. Lots of nice cats in those stretches of the River.

I fish the washington petersburg area. We caught alot of flats earlier this summer things have slowed down. The blues have picked up since the flattys slowed.

I think because blues are off and flats are on spawn... (or they were) should be coming off or already off but flats bites are still slow for me, but hear tell of better action lately

We caught a few small flats yesterday. The biggest was 6 or 7 lb's.

I hope things will start turning around down here. Catching alot of channels and blues but they just aren't the same as a flathead.

The farthest south i have fished is where the East fork meets the west. Is the water very clean from the powerplant to hazleton?

The deep hole up river from the maysville ramp is known as "the 90 foot hole". I have caught a few fish there. More stripers late in the fall on a crank bait. I set bank poles out and have found that it's not to great of a place for that. There are to many people that camp and hand line fish there that like to take your equipment. Plus bankpoling where people handline from the bank is kind of rude anyways.
