This is an excellent cheap fishing rod ($40.00). I love the way it gives a little so the fish sets the hook on its self. I use these rods when I'm fishing with Kahles or Circle hooks. I spooled it up with 25 pound Ande Flurescent green (looks very cool by the way). The rod is rated to 30 but I wouldn't go much over 25 due to line splurge off the reel.

They definitely work very well. The reels work very smooth with great drag.
