Sour suckers time

    Its that time of year again. One of my favorite baits this time of year is sour suckers. Get yourself a big mason jar and some big suckers and staek and fillet them fill the jar with water (and sometimes garlic salt) Bury it in the yard up to the lid fill with suckers and let it sit for a couple days till its on the brink of rotting. Oh almost forgot dont tighten the lid juts screw on a turn to allow escaping gasses. I had one explode on me a few years back. I tightened the lid without thinking about it. Also if you have a healthy population of racoons place a milk carton with a heavy weight on it Ive had them steal a months worth of bait once LOL
