    Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't been on here for awhile but this time of the year the rods are put away and the rifles are cleaned up.

I was out of the house by 3:30 opening morning (Friday) and headed into my hunting spot. I walked 2 mile while it was still dark into my glassing area which I call the "Honey Bowl" it alway has some nice coues deer in it. Well as the sun came over the horizon I began to glass the hill sides when I spotted this nice 3 point buck. I put the cross hairs on him and I made a clean shot. he ran about 15 yards and rolled over.

Had the buck cleaned out and loaded in the 4runner by 8am. One of the easiest hunts. Only if the were all this easy... LOL

Congrats JD on your hunt. Now you have half of an Arizona surf and turf dinner, you only need a flathead:big_smile:
