:smile2:lilmonsters first " flathead " of the season:smile2::smile2::smile2::smile2:
:smile2::smile2: Flattest head ive ever seen!:big_smile:
see guys thats why we cant transport live fish cause look what our flats r startin 2 lookin like.
yeah the carp lil monster used to catch that flathead came out of the asu research park then we put it in his pond at his house and fed it tropical fish and goldfish got it fat and look at that nice flat he got!!!!! Hell of a time!!!:smile2:
Im cuttin the head off every turtle I get into, Im getting my hooks back from now on. Ill pull on the line to extend their neck, and away with the head. Let it be dead for a lil while, then get my hook back.
did you take it home and eat it?
Of course not, ust tired of losing 2 dollar hooks.
They call me Rca Al Zakari
hell yeah 4 now on im doin it skunko style. i got 2 get them hooks back.
Just be glad snapping turtles haven't been released into the reservoirs yet. I grew up around those vicious things in Minnesota and I hate em', hate em', hate em!!!!!!!!! I'de take 10 leather backs over one stinky a$$ snapper. oooh:
have u ever found a meteorite ?
Nice Pirate eye lilmonster, now that's funny stuff right there. Is that for falling meteorite protection?????
thats a lot of freakin snapper shells. I'm sure by the time you collected those you wouldn't have enough fingers left to build the house...lol..
or the meteorites will have pumbled u by then.
OMG,that is a great show, been a long time since i have seen it!
that was one of my favs growing up
ive got a little trick for that. in general to keep turtles away from your bait rather it be troutline or limb. or pole even. take a regular size corn can or greenbean just whatever, poke a hole through the top and inserta regular j hook keeping something tied through the eye of the hook to keep the eye from slippn through. jb weld to smaller treble hooks to the sides of the can. bait the regular j hook with some waste cut bait or whatever ur usin. when the turte sticks his head in to get the bait his head will slidepast the treble hooks on the side but when he goes to pull his head out with the bait the treble hooks will snag his neck and hs hooked. its a sure fire way to catch em. if ya eat turtles then theres no worry bout cuttin the head off cause its stuck in the can. or just cut his head off and no loss to you but sorry for the turtle.
I like turtles.
yeah remember those flats were caught from shore:smile2::smile2::smile2::smile2:
dang i want one of those flatty's:smile2:, lilmonster keep em coming:wink:
