August 10th. I picked up my grandson for some bluegill and bass fishing at 12:20. We got bait and lunch on the way to the lake. My grandson had caught a number of decent LM bass the Sunday before fishing with his dad. He was very eager to catch more of them. When we first got there at 12:45 the bluegills were very active, hitting our baits. Once again he caught a number of bluegills even before I got my line in the water.

As the afternoon got hotter the bluegill action go slower and slower. From 3:00 till we left only two more blue gills were caught. We headed home at 3: 45 to beat the traffic. The fish were not as hungry as we had hoped but did have a good time together. He beat me again 15 to my 13. He used red worm I had wax worms
