I have noticed a large amount of soldiers: past, present, future (not so much) on the site. I am just curious how many we have here. So what I am asking is, if you are a soldier Past, Present, and especially future, show your pride and let the BOC know a little about yourself:

I am in the Army, just went over 15 years. (12 years as an Infantryman (SFC/2.5 years as a Cav officer). Airborne/Ranger/Pathfinder/Master Gunner/Jumpmaster. I have been stationed in Germany/Texas/Georgia/Kentucky. I have been deployed only 3 times: Macedonia, Bosnia, and 1 tour in Iraq. I will be returning to Georgia in March and looking forward to fishing those waters again.

I am a second generation soldier: my Father and Brother also served this great nation.

    God Bless America

During the Korean war I enlisted in the USAF at age 17 for 4 years. After almost 2 years in the states, sent to Newfoundland for 2 years. Discharged as a S/SGT, had plan to reup before 90 days so I could keep my rank. But got married and changed plans.

Only other family member in the military was an older brother in during WW2. He only served six months in the Navy and was discharge on a service related disability. Well, also my granddad was wounded while serving with Confederates in the Civil War. (think how old that makes me)

Hats off to all that has served and especially to the ones in the military today!

This has been exactly the response that I have expected. Thanks to all, sorry that I can not reply to each one individually. I am extremely proud to be a part of this brotherhood of soldiers as well as that of the BOC. It is no wonder that the website has been so successful!

We know that Paul (founder) is also a proud American who is recently retired!
