Its a spring loaded brush grabber.
Used to tie up a boat to brush .
Made of steel it has 4 fingers 2 on each side that clamp onto brush that would be difficult to tie to with just a rope.
Anyway I'm looking for one. Thought I'd try ebay but they don't know it as a brush grabber.
anyone know what I'm talking about?

It's a Blakemore Brush Gripper. About $10 from Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas. I have two, they work great...W
